Soprano ICE Platinum FAQ

  • Soprano ICE Platinum™ is the world’s first laser hair removal system to combine three different laser wavelengths into a single applicator. This "Trio Clustered Diode" technology targets the hair follicle at three different depths simultaneously, providing the most comprehensive hair removal solution available today.

  • Unlike traditional lasers that deliver a single high-energy pulse (which can be painful), Soprano ICE Platinum uses SHR™ (Super Hair Removal) technology. This method gradually heats the dermis to a temperature that effectively damages the hair follicle and prevents re-growth, while the In-Motion™ technique ensures full coverage. The integrated ICE™ cooling system keeps the skin surface comfortable and helps to prevent superficial burns.

  • It is FDA-cleared and clinically proven to be safe for all skin types, including dark and tanned skin (Fitzpatrick levels I-VI). Because of its unique heating method, it is one of the few lasers that can be safely used year-round, even after sun exposure.

  • Face: upper lip, chin, and sideburns.

Body: underarms, shoulders, arms, back, chest, abdomen, and legs.

Sensitive Areas: bikini line, buttocks, and even hard-to-reach areas like the Brazilian and ears.

  • There is very little downtime; you can usually return to your daily routine immediately. You may experience slight redness, similar to a mild sunburn. For best results, a series of 6 to 10 treatments spaced 6-8 weeks apart is typically required to catch hair in its active growth phase. Most patients can achieve an 80–90% semi-permanent hair reduction after a full course.
