Who performs your treatment
Our injectors are APRNs and RNs working under our medical director's delegation. In California, injectables are the practice of medicine, which means they cannot be delegated to estheticians, medical assistants, or LVNs regardless of training or supervision.

This is the one that actually determines whether you're happy. Your number depends on how hard you squeeze, not how old you are. It depends on which areas we're treating and how they work against each other. It depends on whether your lines still move or have etched in at rest. And it depends on what you want, because full relaxation and softened movement are two different goals.
We would rather start conservatively and add at a follow-up than overshoot and ask you to wait it out. Too little and nothing changes. Too much and everyone can tell. Balance is the whole job.

Most patients come in every three to four months. That's how long neurotoxin typically lasts before movement returns and lines start to show again.
The exact interval depends on the product and on you. Daxxify runs longer. Some people metabolize faster than average and notice it wearing off closer to ten or twelve weeks, especially in areas that move constantly.
If you're new to this, plan on a follow-up two weeks after your first treatment. That's when we can see the full effect and adjust if anything needs it. After that, most people settle into a rhythm and book their next visit before they leave.
One thing worth knowing: patients who stay consistent often need less over time. The muscles weaken with regular treatment, so the same result can be achieved with fewer units. Going long stretches between visits means starting closer to where you began.

Forehead and frown lines are one of our most common combinations. These muscles work together, so treating only the forehead can let your brows pull down and feel heavy. Treating both keeps your results balanced and refreshed. Many clients also add crow's feet for a full upper-face refresh, and a lip flip, chin dimpling or jawline can often be treated at the same visit. Your injector will build a plan around your goals and how your face moves.

By the unit. You pay for the exact amount of product used. Since every face is different, this is the most transparent approach. Someone with strong forehead muscles might need 20 units, someone else may only need 10.

Does it Matter Which Neuromodulator I Get?
"Mostly, no. For most patients, in most areas, the differences are smaller than the marketing suggests. What I'm actually choosing between is how fast it works, how much it spreads, and how long it lasts.
Botox is most predictable. It stays where I put it, which is why I reach for it around the eyes, for lip flips, and anywhere I need to be precise.
Jeuveau is dosed the same as Botox, one unit to one unit, so the prices compare directly. If you're new to this, it's a sensible place to start.
Dysport spreads more and kicks in faster, sometimes in two or three days. That spread is exactly what I want across a broad forehead. It's not what I want near the eyes.
Letybo is highly purified. If you've been treated for years and your results are wearing off sooner than they used to, that's the conversation to have.
Daxxify lasts longer, which matters if you don't want to come in four times a year. It varies more from person to person, so I'd rather set expectations than oversell it.
But none of that matters as much as where the product goes and how much of it. The brand is the smallest decision I make."
