Chemical Peels FAQ

  • Chemical peels are professional-grade exfoliating treatments that use specialized acids to remove damaged top layers of skin. We offer two primary levels: the Epionce Sal-e & Mal-e system for gentle refreshing, and the VI Peel for deep, corrective results.

  • Epionce (Sal-e & Mal-e): These botanical-based peels work together to deep-clean pores (Sal-e) and brighten the skin's surface (Mal-e). They increase cell turnover without causing significant visible peeling.

VI Peel: This is a multi-ingredient "powerhouse" peel. It uses a blend of TCA, Retinoic Acid, and Vitamin C to reach deeper layers of the skin, triggering a complete resurfacing "reset."

  • While the FDA regulates the ingredients in chemical peels (like Salicylic and Glycolic acid), peels themselves are categorized as professional-grade cosmetic treatments. Both Epionce and VI Peel are industry leaders with high safety profiles and are trusted by medical professionals worldwide.

  • The face, neck, and chest are the most common areas. We also treat the hands and back (especially for "bacne" using the Epionce Sal-e or VI Peel Purify).

  • Epionce: Zero to minimal downtime. You may have slight redness for an hour, but no "peeling" phase. Results provide an instant glow and are best maintained with monthly sessions.

VI Peel: Expect a 7-day transformation. You will begin to peel on Day 3 and finish by Day 7. The results are dramatic and long-lasting, especially when done in a series of 3 treatments.
