DiamondGlow FAQ
-
It is a medical-grade, non-invasive skin resurfacing treatment that performs three tasks simultaneously: exfoliating dry, damaged skin, extracting debris from pores, and infusing the skin with professional-grade SkinCeuticals or SkinMedica serums.
-
While a HydraFacial uses chemical exfoliation, DiamondGlow uses a real diamond-tipped wand for physical exfoliation. This allows for a deeper, more precise resurfacing that is customized to your skin’s "grit" level. By removing the top layer of dead skin while pores are open and receptive, we can drive nourishing serums deeper into the tissue for more dramatic results.
-
DiamondGlow® is FDA-cleared.
-
Because we can swap the diamond tips and the serums, we can treat almost any concern, including:
Fine Lines & Wrinkles: To smooth and "plump" the skin.
Rough Texture: To polish and refine the skin's surface.
Dryness: Using hyaluronic acid to drench the skin in moisture.
Dark Spots: Using skin-brightening serums to even out your tone.
Congestion: Deep-cleaning pores to prevent breakouts.
-
There is no downtime. Your skin will look dewy and bright immediately afterward, which makes it a good choice a few days before an event. For corrective work like fading pigment or clearing congestion, we recommend a series of about six treatments spaced two to four weeks apart, then maintenance every four to six weeks.
